Ancient Pathways to a Life of Prayer
February 1, 2018
Please join us for a day of reflecting, practicing, and growing in prayer. Your entire leadership team is welcome. RSVP here
We live in exhausting times that threaten to take all margin from life and expose our anemic relationship with God. Pastors and church leaders are called to shepherd the church in the midst of cultural currents fueled by fear, anxiety, and isolation. The longevity and faithfulness of ministers deepen on our rootedness in Christ.
Join us for a one day workshop focused on equipping Christian leaders to discover ancient pathways for a deeper life in God. In this workshop, we will pursue practices that help pastors and church leaders experience the abundant life of Christ through vibrant prayer and contemplation.
About the facilitator:
Rich Villodas is the lead pastor of New Life Fellowship Church. New Life is a church community with people from over 75 nations in the heart of Queens, NYC.
Pastors Marriage Retreat
We are looking forward to Surge’s first marriage retreat for pastors and their spouses. This will be a special three-day gathering designed to give you and your spouse time of refreshment, opportunities to discuss and pray through various aspects of your relationship, and to be encouraged through rich teaching from Don and Renee Worcester. The Worcester have both spent over 20 years in ministry, are marriage counselors, and specialize in walking through the ways local church ministry specifically impacts marriage for pastors. Many pastors in Arizona have benefited from time with Don and Renee and we trust this 3-day experience will deeply nourish, strengthen, and encourage marriages that are new, old, strong, and struggling. Most importantly, there will be plenty of downtime to enjoy your spouse.
*This event is only open to vocational ministers of local churches.
Cost: $300 per couple (includes 2 nights stay in hotel, and 3 meals)
This retreat is limited to 30 couples.
