Church Planting Incubator
Welcome to Redeemer City to City's Church Planting Incubator. The "Incubator" represents a unique and proven training program in which church plants are “incubated” in community-rich learning environments over a two-year training period that focuses on process, relationships, and reflective practices.
The Incubator educational design is unique for both its research-infused curriculum as well as its specific training and delivery methods. First, its curriculum is based on proprietary research. Second, its delivery method centers around small-group, shared inquiry-type discussion rather than traditional learning environments. Together, these two unique features of Incubator have served to train hundreds of church planters around the world, as well as develop coaches and trainers for this material.
Historically, Incubator has been delivered through in-person coaching sessions with certified trainers in New York City and a few other select cities around the world. Surge is thankful to be partnering with City to City to launch the incubator training for Arizona cities.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL THIS COURSE TAKE?
In order to properly "incubate" an urban church plant, we have designed this 16-session course to be delivered once a month over a two-year time frame (we meet August-May). Each day-long session is designed for a six- or seven-hour class session. The course facilitator will set the schedule and due dates for the course. Your course facilitator can provide additional details on how, when, and where you'll be taking the course. In addition, there is about one full day of reading and assignments each month to prepare for the day long class.
HOW MUCH IS THE COURSE COAST?
The Incubator cohort cost $500. Please let us know if this is the only barrier for entry we will do what we can to work on scholarships and payment plans.
