Topic: Communicating the Gospel to a 21st Century Audience
Speaker: Riccardo Stewart
The church in Arizona sits between a culture that is familiar with Christianity and emerging generations with little to no experience of Christianity.
On one hand, our churches are full of members who have very few intentional relationships with their non-Christian neighbors and struggle to embody and proclaim their faith. At the same time, our cities are full of people with either a poor impression of Christianity or no experience at all. How do we communicate the good news of Jesus and the Story of God to a culture that is spiritual, relativistic, and suspicious of Christianity? How do we communicate in ways that engage the mind, heart, and experience of the spiritual seekers, skeptics, and long-time Christians that may gather to participate in a worship service.
Join us for a great discussion on how this has fleshed out in your own context, a time of sharing from Riccardo Stewart, and prayer as all of our regions gather together on August 8th at New City Church!
