Wisdom for Vocational Discipleship

How can we equip our congregations to see work as a way to glory God and serve neighbors? How can we help them be more intentional in their work lives? Amy Sherman, the author of Kingdom Calling: Vocational Stewardship for the Common Good, and Jim Mullins, the pastor of theological and vocational formation for Redemption Church will facilitate a discussion about the best practices for vocational discipleship. This workshop will provide pastors and other church leaders an opportunity to learn how they can help their congregations deepen their theology of work and be more intentional in their work lives.

About our Speaker:

Our featured speaker will be Dr. Amy Sherman who is a Senior Fellow at the Sagamore Institute for Policy Research, where she directs the Center on Faith in Communities.

Dr. Sherman is the author of six books, including Kingdom Calling: Vocational Stewardship for the Common Good, and some 75+ published articles in such diverse periodicals as Christianity Today, First Things, The Public Interest, Policy Review, Prism, The Christian Century, and Books & Culture.
