Save the date for a very important conversation on what it means to navigate the socially scary waters of crossing racial and cultural boundaries as we seek to thrive as God’s people in the midst of an increasingly broken and divided world. Thursday evening 11/10 we have a very important and special event at Safford School called “Tapestry.” In the same way that distinct/individual/diverse strings come together to make a beautiful piece of art, we believe that the diverse cultures/races/backgrounds in our church make a beautiful tapestry as well.
This is a pointed class + conversation about race, brokenness, white privilege, power, diversity, & the Gospel. This is also a great time to ask questions. There will be two keynote speakers and a panel to cover a variety of subjects and questions. We believe this is a crucial moment for us as a church & we are calling us all to be there!
